Soccer Camp / VBS

IT has truly been an amazing week here in the city of Toronto. One of the church plants we are working with, Oasis Church, held its Summer VBS this week, and we had over 30 kids attend. We were also blessed to have a volunteer mission team from Iowa here the entire week to help out. The theme of the camp was Gold Rush: Treasuring Jesus. The camp was et up as a combination of soccer camp and VBS. So, we would teach and play soccer from 9-12, followed by VBS 1-4 with lunch in between. It was such an encouragement to see how relationships growed over the course of the week, not just between staff and kids, but also between staff and staff as well, and how God opened doors for His gospel to be shared with so many. The team worked so hard, we all played so hard, and through faith and prayers the Spirit brought 5 souls into the kingdom through the camp. Just take a minute to let that soak in… 5 souls are now in fellowship with God, and spared from His wrath forever! All praise, honor, and glory be to Him alone! We ended the camp with a block party where we had the chance to minister to many of the children’s parents, and start relationships and plant seeds in their lives. I pray God will use that to grow His church.  There are so many memories, and God stories that time would fail me to share them all. The bottom line is that God is amazing beyond comprehension, and it is truly an honor to be one of His disciples. I love Him so much! P.S. Shout out to my man Michael for being there early and staying late setting up the soccer fields for us to play on, love ya bro!

  1. So awesome to see results of a lot of prayer and hard work. God is still in the saving business and it amazes me to see those willing to serve and be spent for the glory of God. Praising His name always!
